In the year 2018, I graduated in IT. While it was time to enjoy my graduation ceremony, I was actually worried about my future. I had no clue what to do or what was my passion like others. But there was a difference between me and others they were already placed in big IT giant companies.

So I was damn nervous and I started appearing for all kinds of interviews. I wasn't even aware of the job role or job description. I was so desperate that I attended as many interviews as I could even if they match my career desire or not. After facing many rejections and rejecting some others myself I was disheartened. And It was time to take a break.

In the month of July, my mother told me my brother was getting married. And it was a good opportunity for me to take a break. So I jumped on the train with the hope that when I return I'll have a job too like others. I stayed in Bangalore for almost a week. It was such an amazing week that happened after my graduation. I forgot that I need a job.

After an amazing week as I headed home, reality struck me a little more. I got a call that there is a vacancy in Mira road. I thought it will be awesome if get this job as I won't have to travel a lot. So I went for the interview. First was my aptitude test which I was scared of most. They were my nightmares. So I had 10 numerical and 10 questions on PHP and SQL.

I did well with numerical and SQL and PHP was okay. I cleared my attitude and headed towards the technical round in which I was asked basic questions. After that, there was a machine round. I was given a form to design and submit in MySQL.

I designed the form in HTML and connected it to the backend. After doing that I was ready to submit my form. And boom! The form did not submit. I started looking for errors but no help. Couldn't find any. And the time was over. I was given a second chance to come back after two days.

I returned after two days. My machine was changed this time but they had my code in that machine. I sat there praying to god that please run my code. And as I submit my form, it got submitted. I was so happy! I did not do a single change and it worked properly. I was wondering what was wrong on that day. Called the senior person showed her the code. Even she was surprised to see it working without a single change.

Finally, I had my HR round. Faced some questions. And finally landed my first job. I was at cloud nine although the company was small and I don't what they had to offer. I was given the role of a software developer. I have now completed 3 years as a software developer.

To people who are still struggling to find a job, believe in yourself and have patience and trust the process. You will have what you want.
